I'm 29, French, and I recently moved to the beautiful city of San Diego, California, after living in New York for four years. Living so far from my French family is not easy everyday - far from that. But oh well, I made a choice, I have to be a big girl and live with it... Anyway, besides my lovy dove, I share my life with a wonderful dog that we rescued from a local shelter (the Center for Animal Care and Control - go there). We had our minds set on a particular breed, and patience paid: after two months of weekly visits, we found Buzz (Lightyear), a gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback. We sneaked in the subway (ouh!) and lived happily ever after... No wait, I had a point: PLEASE, next time you see someone walking a large dog, do NOT say: "Wow, is that a horse or what?!" I've been hearing that at least five times a day ever since we rescued Buzz, and it gets really tiresome... Live the life you've imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler; solitude will not be solitude, poverty will not be poverty, nor weakness weakness. Henry David Thoreau |
