Holistic Home - Trevelyan
Beautiful pictures and thoughtful text introduce the reader to the use of colors, light, sounds and more to promote beauty, positive energy and efficiency in the home. A review is made of all rooms, with appropriate choice of colors and objects suitable for each. Many subjects are addressed, including feng shui and aromatherapy.

Mad Cowbow - Howard Lyman
How does a meat-loving cowboy become a vegetarian environmental activist? Just by realizing the effects that pesticides, growth hormone, and a regimen of ground-up remains of other animals have on livestock. And consequently, on the humans who eat meat raised in such conditions... According to Lyman, cancer, heart disease and obesity are primarily caused by a meat-rich diet.

Women who run with the wolves - Patricia Estes
Wild women, this one is for you! And we all are, whether we know it or not! So go ahead and take the plunge. I particularly recommend the audio cassette version, which in my sense lets you experience the adventure with more intensity.

Real Magic - Wayne Dyer
Real Magic, by Wayne W. Dyer started a revolution in my mind. I am ever grateful to Wayne Dyer for sharing his message. This is without doubt a life changing book. It is at the same time comforting and eye-opening. Dyer demonstrates the power of meditation with many striking examples.

The Bodacious book of succulence - Sark
I am a big fan of SARK, and this is her latest book. She is an outstanding woman, whose work will if not change your life, at least definitely open new fields of self discovery. Her invitations to have a lot of fun on the way are irresistible...

From Potter's Field - Patricia Cornwell
I began to read Patricia Cornwell's novels a few years ago (in French at that time...) and they are very tricky because once your eyes fall on the first line of her stories, you're trapped. Forget about work and chores, you have to finish the book first! She has such a talent for hooking the reader in her intrigues that you'll want to own every one of them. Don't tell me I didn't warn you!

Women's bodies, women's wisdom - Christiane Northrup
I haven't actualy read this book yet, it's one of the many on my "to read" list. I have seen Christiane Northrup on PBS, though, and was very impressed and charmed. She seems to me to be the "dream" physician, because she's down to earth, practical, direct. And she has a wonderful sense of humour. And all that of course doesn't lessen her tremendous knowledge of women...
